Following a safe & successful 2012 season all of us at Camp McFadden are excited about 2013. Our Web Page has been completed, the new Outdoor Education Program is in full swing, we have several Oklahoma Foundations interested in helping and our calendar is filling fast with Summer Camp 2013 just a few months away!

Late fall and early winter has been busy with 15 different groups of out of state hunters staying for a week or more each. This will prove to be bigger in the future and keep an eye out for youth outdoor clinics to begin in the Fall of 2013.

directions please refer to those provided below along with the maps. Camp
McFadden urges that you do not use googlemaps or mapquest for directions as
these lead visitors into a lake. If there are any questions please contact us
and we will help in any way possible.
From OKC/Wichita
- Take exit 214, US-60 off of I-35 and turn East
- Travel straight through Ponca City on HWY 60 BR
- Hwy 60 BR turns into South Ave
- Stay on South Ave the road will curve and turn into Pecan
- At the first Stop Sign turn right onto Lake Rd
- Travel 6 miles on Lake Rd
- Turn left onto Silverdale across from Sun 'n Fun
- Travel North on Silverdale until road ends (approx. 1 mile)
- Turn right onto Hartford
- Take first left (Entrance)
- Welcome to Camp McFadden!!
From Tulsa/Enid
- Take exit 15, HWY 177, off of HWY 412
- Turn North onto HWY 177
- Travel approx. 20 miles, when entering Ponca City turn right, East, onto South Ave
- South Ave will curve and turn into Pecan

Camp McFadden
This original sign was one of the only items brought to the new location when Kaw Lake was built in 1975. The other item sits over the fireplace in our lodge and commemorates the first year Camp McFadden was operational in 1927 as a Camp Fire Girls camp.
Flyover
This photo gives you a perspective of the layout of our cabins and lodge. A short walk to the water, Camp McFadden has about 250 acres and sits on the western shore of Kaw Lake, 2 miles from the dam and 8 miles east of Ponca City, Oklahoma.
Cabins
These cabins, 6 total, are for rent through out the year when Summer Camp is not in session, and share a common bath house. Each cabin has ten single beds and air conditioning. Recently remodeled they have new windows and insulation.
Summer Camp
During the heat of summer here in Oklahoma the Summer Campers spent countless hours in the waters of not just Kaw Lake but also our two ponds.
